(a) There is hereby established in and for the City the position of Repair and Maintenance II within the Division of Repair and Maintenance.
(b) Such position shall be within the classified service.
(c) The position of Repair and Maintenance II shall perform leadman work in the repair and maintenance of a variety of makes and models of passenger motor vehicles and trucks, street maintenance equipment and stationary equipment and shall perform a variety of building maintenance duties and related work as required, such as welding. The person in the position of Repair and Maintenance II shall report directly to, and be under the direct control of, the Director of Public Service. He or she shall be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Repair and Maintenance Division and shall supervise the work of lower positions as such shall from time to time be established within the Division.
