(a) The Council hereby determines that it is necessary to further public purposes for the City to make nominal expenditures for the purchase of food and refreshments:
(1) For city officials and employees to meet with the public in planning workshops in an amount not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00),
(2) For employees at mandatory safety meetings for the Service Department in an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00), and/or
(3) For officials’ meetings, scheduled departmental meetings and departmental hosted events in amounts not to exceed two dollars and twenty cents ($2.20) per person.
(b) It is the intention of this Council by this section to comply with the advice given by the Ohio Attorney General in 1982 OP. Atty. Gen. No. 82-006.
