220.02 ASSISTANT CLERK OF COUNCIL.
   (a)   There is hereby established in and for the City the position of an Assistant Clerk of Council, who shall serve at the pleasure of Council.
   (b)   The Assistant Clerk of Council shall be appointed by a majority vote of Council and shall perform the duties as prescribed by Council.
   (c)   Compensation for the Assistant Clerk of Council shall be determined by Council, and such compensation shall be established by ordinance.
