Each pedicab shall be equipped with:
A. A functioning headlight capable of projecting a beam of white light for a distance of five hundred (500) feet.
B. Functioning taillights mounted on the right and the left respectively at the same level on the rear exterior of the passenger compartment. Taillights shall be red in color and plainly visible from all distances within five hundred (500) feet to the rear of the vehicle.
C. Hydraulic or mechanical disc brakes which are unaffected by rain or wet conditions.
D. Spoke or wheel rim reflectors on each wheel of the pedicab.
E. A seatbelt for all passengers.
F. Turn lights.
G. A bell, horn, or other similar audible signaling device.
H. Such other equipment as required by rules and regulations promulgated by the joint approval of the Chief of Police and the Village President. (Ord. 2019-17, 6-13-2019)
