A. The village shall provide for collection of residential garbage and refuse as provided herein by contract, with the contractor picking up weekly, from each residential user, waste materials as defined in this chapter not exceeding the number of containers as provided in this chapter and the refuse collection contract with the contractor; further provided, that each owner/user of individual premises shall be responsible for removal at extra expense of any containers of garbage or refuse in excess of the amount provided in this chapter.
B. When said contract is awarded by the village board, the same shall be executed by the president on behalf of the village board and attested by the village clerk. This chapter is considered by the village board to be a health measure. (Ord. 2004-41, 12-8-2004)
