7-5-4: RULES AND REGULATIONS:
   A.   Times When Burials Permitted: Burials may be made between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and by special arrangement only on Saturdays or holidays.
   B.   Use of Equipment for Burials: Tents, artificial grass, lowering devices and other equipment shall be used exclusively in making burials and removal, and such equipment shall be provided by commercial companies at the expense of the person requesting the burial.
   C.   Moving of Remains to Other Plot: A body or cremated remains may be removed from its original plot to a larger or better plot in the Utica Oak Hill Cemetery with written permission of the Cemetery Custodian or the Village Clerk. The Cemetery Custodian shall exercise due care with the removal, but the Village shall assume no liability for damage to any casket, burial case or urn.
   D.   Vaults and Containers: All caskets are to be enclosed in a vault made of concrete or steel. All cremains shall be placed in a steel, concrete or marble container. No rough boxes are allowed.
   E.   Limits on Burial in Each Grave: Burial in each grave site is allowed as follows:
      1.   One (1) vault;
      2.   One (1) vault with one (1) urn on top; or
      3.   Three (3) urns.
   F.   Persons Permitted on Graves: Only the grave owner, family, and friends of the family are permitted on the cemetery grave. Graves are sacred, private property and must not be invaded.
   G.   Gravestones: The construction and installation of a gravestone is permitted in the Utica Oak Hill Cemetery with approval of the Cemetery Custodian. The stone shall not encroach on another lot or on any avenue or path of the Utica Oak Hill Cemetery. The Cemetery Custodian reserves the right to remove or to have removed any stone, monument, structure or inscription that he/she deems improper or detrimental.
   H.   Orders for Opening of Graves: All orders for the opening of graves shall be made to the Cemetery Custodian by the owner, owner’s representative or funeral director with a reasonable amount of time allowed prior to burial.
   I.   Motor Vehicle Restrictions: Automobiles shall not be driven through the Utica Oak Hill Cemetery at a speed greater than 15 miles per hour, and automobiles shall always be driven on the righthand side of the roadway. Automobiles are not allowed to park or stop in front of any open grave unless such automobiles are in attendance at the funeral. Snowmobiles are prohibited from Utica Oak Hill Cemetery property.
   J.   Supervision of Funerals: All funerals shall be under the supervision of the Cemetery Custodian and/or their designee, upon entering the cemetery.
   K.   Memorial Mausoleum:
      1.   Decorations are allowed in the Memorial Mausoleum except for live flowers or plants, or anything that could damage the shelves or marble. The mausoleum shall be subject to all the general rules and regulations as are heretofore provided for the cemetery except as such rules and regulations are not consistent with the provisions of this section.
