The Electrical Inspector shall:
(A) Enforce the provisions of this chapter;
(B) Upon application grant permits of the installation or alteration of electrical equipment and make inspections of electrical installations;
(C) Keep complete records of all permits issued, inspections and re-inspections made and other official work performed;
(D) Employ, after receiving the approval of the Manager, any assistant inspectors and clerical assistants necessary for the proper conduct of the office and the inspection of electrical installations. Such assistants may be delegated any of the powers or duties of the Electrical Inspector.
