(A) The Manager may appoint a Heating Inspector and such Deputy Heating Inspectors as may be required to carry out the terms of this chapter, excepting §§ 150.100 et seq., and Chapters 151 and 152. The Heating Inspector and Deputies appointed must demonstrate a general knowledge of all types of heating apparatus, equipment and installation, including air conditioning units. They shall be particularly qualified to inspect and pass upon the installation of gas burner equipment.
(B) The Heating Inspector and Deputies shall not engage in the business of installation or maintenance of heating or air conditioning equipment, either directly or indirectly in the city, and they shall have no financial interest in any concern engaged in such business in the city.
