If the city, in its sole discretion, determines that any water line of the city must be moved or replaced, the city, or developer connecting to the moved water line, shall bear that portion of the cost of the move or replacement which applies to main lines up to the property line of the customer. The cost of reconnecting such new line or lines from the house of the customer to the property line or meter box, where applicable, shall be borne by the customer. (1989 Code § 14-139; amd.
