A. No person, either as owner, agent, servant, contractor or employee, shall construct any permanent sidewalk without first obtaining a permit from the city engineer. The permit shall specify that the sidewalk is to be constructed according to city specifications and standards.
B. It shall be unlawful to construct a sidewalk in violation of the specifications given by a proper city official.
C. All sidewalks shall be constructed under the inspection of the public works director or designee. (1989 Code § 11-352; amd. 2012 Code)
