A. If any vehicle or trailer is used in violation of the parking provisions of this title, the person or entity in whose name the vehicle or trailer is registered shall be strictly liable for the violation and the penalty for the violation.
B. If a peace officer or Ordinance Enforcement Officer witnesses a person stop or park a vehicle or trailer in violation of this chapter, the officer shall assess the civil penalty against that operator in lieu of the registered owner. (Ord. 2019-01, 6-4-2019)
