5-9-1: PURPOSE:

This chapter authorizes the fire chief of South Davis Metro Fire Agency as the local fire official for this municipality to prohibit open fires and the use of any ignition source, including fireworks, lighters, matches, and smoking materials, when hazardous environmental conditions necessitate controlling the use thereof.
