This chapter may be referred to as the NORTH SALT LAKE CITY ANTIGRAFFITI ORDINANCE. The purpose of this chapter is to establish a process for removal of graffiti within the city. The city specifically finds that the continued existence of graffiti is an economic and visual detriment to the city. Further, the city specifically finds that graffiti is related to gangs and other criminal violence and contributes to criminal activity and juvenile delinquency. The city declares that such graffiti is a public nuisance. (Ord. 09-08, 3-31-2009)
