A. Legislative And Executive Powers: The city shall have a governing body as provided in Utah Code Annotated section 10-3b-105, which shall exercise the legislative and executive powers of the city, unless the city is organized with separate executive and legislative branches of municipal government. B. Other Functions: The governing body may perform such other functions as may be specifically provided or necessarily implied by law. (1989 Code § 3-102)
C. Composition Of Governing Body: The governing body of this city shall be a council composed of six (6) members, one of whom shall be the mayor and the remaining five (5) shall be council members. (1989 Code § 3-105; amd. 2012 Code)
