Nothing in this chapter is intended to include the licensing of any building, enclosure or other place where a public dance or public ball is conducted, as defined in Chapter 822. If dancing is conducted or permitted upon any grounds or lands licensed under this chapter, such dancing shall be governed by Chapter 822 and by general law, but this chapter shall be effective as to all lands and grounds used for the general purposes mentioned and intended in this chapter without regard to the existence or nonexistence within or upon such lands and grounds of any building or other structure for, or the conducting of, dancing therein or thereon. In all cases where dancing is included, the same shall be subject to Chapter 822 even though the premises generally are licensed hereunder for the general purposes specifically intended to be included within the provisions of this chapter.
