§ 154.020 LICENSE REQUIRED FOR SIGN CONTRACTORS; FEE; EXPIRATION.
   (A)   No person shall engage in the business of installing, altering or repairing any sign within the corporate limits of the city, or within the 2-mile zone adjacent to the corporate limits of the city, unless they are the holder of a sign license, except signs exempt from permits.
   (B)   The owner of a business can personally install their own signs without a sign contractor license.
   (C)   A sign license fee established on the annual city fee schedule shall be paid to the City Clerk. All sign licenses shall expire on December 31 of the year in which issued.
