§ 32.26 CITY PROSECUTOR.
   The City Prosecutor shall be responsible for criminal prosecution of city ordinances, for the preparation of complaints as requested by the city police or other authorized officials, and attend and prosecute violations of the ordinances of the city when directed to do so by the Mayor. Without direction, the City Prosecutor shall appear and prosecute all cases for violation of the ordinances of the city that have been appealed and are pending in the District Court. He or she shall be available to advise the city police in all matters regarding the prosecution of violations of the city ordinances, and shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Mayor and Council.
