§ 32.25 CITY ATTORNEY.
   The City Attorney shall represent the city on corporate and civil matters. He or she shall give advice to the Mayor and Council and such other city officials as shall be requested by the Mayor or Council. He or she shall prepare ordinances, examine legal instruments, and handle civil lawsuits, and shall be responsible for such other work as may be requested by the Mayor or Council. He or she shall attend meetings of the Council and give the Council his or her opinion upon any matter submitted to him or her, either orally or in writing as may be required.
