For the purpose of providing for the regulation and governing of energy efficient building envelopes and installation of energy efficient mechanical, lighting and power systems, the International Energy Conservation Code, 2009 Edition, in addition to all amended editions and supplements, is hereby incorporated by reference as though printed in full herein, insofar as such code does not conflict with the statutes of the State of Nebraska, provided, however, that the following provisions of the International Energy Conservation Code 2009 Edition, shall not be adopted:
Chapter 4, Section 403.2.2 part (1)(2); Duct Pressure Testing.
At least 1 copy of the International Energy Conservation Code shall be on file in the office of the City of North Platte Clerk and shall be available for public inspection at all reasonable times. Additional copies shall be available for public dissemination at the office of the Chief Building Official and 1 copy available at the City Library reference section. The provisions of the International Energy Conservation Code shall be controlling throughout the city and within the 2-mile building and zoning jurisdiction of the city.
