To provide certain minimum standards, provisions and requirements for safe and proper installation, methods of connection and installation of gas piping from the point of delivery, gas appliances and related accessories, the International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 Edition, as promulgated and printed in pamphlet form, is hereby incorporated by reference in addition to all amended editions as though printed in full herein insofar as such code does not conflict with the statutes of the State of Nebraska. At least 1 copy of the International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 Edition, shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk and shall be available for public inspection at any reasonable time. Additional copies shall be available for public dissemination at the office of the Chief Building Official and 1 copy available at the City Library reference section. The provisions of the International Fuel Gas Code shall be controlling throughout the city and within the 2-mile building and zoning jurisdiction.
