§ 150.035 INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE (IRC) ADOPTED BY REFERENCE.
   To provide minimum requirements to safeguard life or limb, health and public welfare in the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, use and occupancy, location, removal and demolition of detached 1 and 2-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings, the International Residential Code (IRC), 2018 Edition, printed in book or pamphlet form is hereby incorporated by reference in addition to all amended editions as though printed in full herein insofar as such code does not conflict with the statutes of the state or the provisions of this chapter provided, however, that the following provisions of The International Residential Code (IRC) 2018 Edition, shall not be adopted:
      Part III, Chapter 3, Section R 309.5 and Section 313, Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems.
      Part VIII, Chapters 34 through 41, Electrical (inclusive)
      Part IV, Chapter 11
      Chapter 3, Section 302.13 Floors, Gen. F.P.
   And provided further that:
      Part IV Chapter 11 of the 2009 Edition of the IECC (International Energy Conservation Code), Chapters 1 through 4 (inclusive) is adopted and incorporated herein in lieu of Part IV, Chapter 11 of the IRC.
That the following entry shall be added to Part III, Chapter 3, Table R301.2(1) Climatic and Geographic Design Criteria:

   Part VII, Chapter 26, Section P2603.5.1 shall provide for sewer depth not less than 12 inches.
   One copy of the International Residential Code, 2018 Edition, is on file at the office of the City Clerk and is available for public inspection at any reasonable time. Additional copies shall be available for public dissemination at the office of the Chief Building Official and 1 copy available at the City Library reference section. The provisions of the International Residential Code shall be controlling throughout the city and within the 2-mile building and zoning jurisdiction
