To provide certain minimum standards, provisions and requirements for safe and stable installation, methods of connection, and uses of materials in the installation of plumbing and heating, the International Plumbing Code, 2018 Edition printed in book or pamphlet form, is hereby incorporated by reference in addition to all amended editions as though printed in full herein insofar as such code does not conflict with the statutes of the state. At least 1 copy of the International Plumbing Code, 2018 Edition shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk and shall be available for public inspection at any reasonable time. Additional copies shall be available for public dissemination at the office of the Chief Building Official and 1 copy available at the City Library reference section. The provisions of the Plumbing Code shall be controlling throughout the city and within the 2-mile building and zoning jurisdiction.
