The governing body shall have the power to revoke any gasfitter’s certificate of registration if the certificate was obtained through error or fraud, or if the registrant is shown to be grossly incompetent, or has on 2 or more occasions violated any of the provisions of the city constituting its Building Code or Gas Code, or any provisions of this chapter. No person or firm shall apply for registration for 1 year after revocation.
