§ 94.112 CHIEF.
   (A)   The Chief of the Fire Department and/or his or her designee shall be subject to call at all times.
   (B)   (1)   The Chief of the Fire Department of the city shall have, under the direction of the City Administrator, control and command of the Fire Department of the city and of the property, implements and apparatus used in his or her Department.
      (2)   He or she also shall perform such duties as are provided by this code relating to the Fire Department and fire regulations. The Chief of the Department or his or her designee shall take charge of and direct all activities of the Fire Department at fires, or in such emergencies as the Department shall be called to. He or she shall thereat enforce discipline, both with respect to the members of the Department and also to the persons outside thereof. He or she shall see that the equipment is maintained in serviceable shape and ready for instant use and shall so arrange that an adequate force of humans is available to man all equipment. He or she shall be the official representative of the Department in its dealings with the Mayor and Council and shall, from time to time, report conditions and make recommendations with reference to standardizing and maintaining equipment.
