§ 91.07 LICENSE FOR STREET AND SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS.
   (A)   License required. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of constructing sidewalks, approaches, street crossings and curbs in the city without holding a permit to engage in the work.
   (B)   Bond. The license required by this section shall not be granted or issued until the applicant shall have filed with the City Clerk a bond in such sum as has been set by resolution of the governing body and approved by the Mayor, conditioned upon the faithful performance by the obligor of all work and contracts made by him or her with property owners, and to save the city harmless from any damage arising from carelessness or negligence in the execution of his or her contract or the prosecution of the work, or by reason of any inadequate or unfaithful work done either to the public as a whole or particularly to others who may be specially damaged, for a period of 1 year after the completion of the work and its acceptance by the governing body upon recommendation of the City Engineer.
