§ 90.15 AUTHORITY TO RESCUE ANIMALS CONFINED IN VEHICLE.
   Whenever any animal is found confined in a motor vehicle in a public place under weather conditions that endanger its life as determined by the Supervisor of the Animal Control Division, the Supervisor of the Animal Control Division is hereby authorized, with assistance from the police, to enter the vehicle and rescue the animal and impound it in accordance with § 90.03, at the city’s animal shelter. A prominent written notice shall be placed in the vehicle advising that the animal has been removed under the authority of this section and impounded in accordance with § 90.03 at the city’s animal shelter.
