§ 73.33 ENGINE BRAKING; PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful within the city limits for any operator of a motor vehicle with a total gross vehicle weight rating of 7,000 pounds or more, including its towed unit or units, to attempt to retard the forward movement of the vehicle by initiating a device commonly known as jake brakes to contain the engine’s compression, thus rapidly slowing the engine’s revolutions per minute.
