§ 30.045 DELIVERY TO CHIEF OF POLICE; RECORD; CUSTODY.
   (A)   It is hereby made the duty of every member of the police force to deliver to the Chief of Police every article of property seized or found by such officer immediately after the property shall have come into his or her possession.
   (B)   A complete and accurate record of the property shall be kept by the Chief of Police and he or she shall be the custodian of the property and responsible for it.
