(A) For all property having city disposal system collection, trash or waste of a bulky nature and therefore not susceptible of being placed within approved receptacles shall be placed near the approved receptacles in separate piles or groups in such a manner that the piles or groups do not block the alley, or street if collections are made at the street. No bulky trash created by firms engaged in work for hire or created by building or construction contractors will be collected.
(B) The only bulky trash items acceptable for collection are:
(1) Tree debris, including limbs cut in lengths of no more than 10 feet and no larger than 10 inches in diameter, stumps no greater than 18 inches in diameter with the majority of dirt removed, and larger trunk and limb parts up to 18 inches in diameter cut in lengths of no more than 3 feet;
(2) Christmas trees;
(3) Large household appliances such as cooking stoves, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers and the like. All doors and lids must be removed or made totally inoperable prior to the placement for collection;
(4) Furniture such as chairs, tables, couches, hide-a-beds and the like;
(5) Mattresses and box springs;
(6) Carpet and linoleum rolls;
(7) Railroad ties, landscaping timbers, posts and poles no more than 10 feet in length or 12 inches in diameter;
(8) Fencing materials such as posts, wire fabric, wood slats and supports;
(9) Vehicle parts such as fenders, grilles, hoods, trunk lids, doors, seats, tires, wheels and drive train components, but no whole vehicles;
(10) Totally empty cleaned barrels and steel drums;
(11) Concrete, asphalt and brick;
(12) Used oil and lubricants placed in plastic or metal containers no larger in capacity than 1 gallon with tightfitting lids; and
(13) Used vehicle batteries.
