§ 54.05 APPROVED RECEPTACLES FOR HOUSEHOLD WASTE AND YARD WASTE.
   (A)   All household waste and yard waste other than bulky trash shall be placed in receptacles, as defined in this chapter. Household waste or yard waste shall not exceed 200 pounds in any 1 approved receptacle. During periods of heaviest yard waste disposal, such as during spring and fall cleanup, this requirement may be waived and charging units may be allowed to place excess yard waste in 2-ply degradable paper bags. Plastic bags shall not be used for yard waste disposal at any time.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to keep in or on or about any dwelling house, building or premises within the corporate limits of the city any household waste, unless the waste is kept in approved receptacles; except for containers used for storage of recyclable materials.
