§ 30.025 “PUBLIC BODY” DEFINED.
   (A)   The term PUBLIC BODY, as used in this subchapter, shall mean:
      (1)   The governing body of the city;
      (2)   All independent boards, commissions, bureaus, committees, Councils, subunits, certificate of need appeal panels or any other bodies now or hereafter created by constitution, statute or otherwise pursuant to law; and
      (3)   Advisory committees of the bodies listed in divisions (A)(1) and (2) of this section.
   (B)   This subchapter shall not apply to subcommittees of the bodies unless the subcommittees are holding hearings, making policy or taking formal action on behalf of their parent body.
