The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning.
BELT LINE, MAIN AND COMMERCIAL MAIN. Any pipe other than a service pipe used for the purpose of carrying water to or distributing it in the city.
SEPARATE PREMISES. A separate dwelling, each apartment in an apartment house, each mobile home in a mobile home court, each separate business in a business building, or each business and living quarters in a building or structure.
SERVICE PIPE. Any pipe tapped into a main and extending thence to a point at or near the lot line of consumers’ premises where a curbstop or valve is generally located.
SUPPLY PIPE. The pipe extending from the curbstop or valve to and beyond the property line of the consumer.
