§ 52.021 PRIVATE FIRE HYDRANTS.
   If proprietors of lumberyards, manufacturers, stores, elevators, warehouses, hotels or public buildings who are regular consumers of water from the waterworks system of the city wish to lay large pipes with hydrants and hose couplings to be used only in case of fire, they shall be permitted to connect with the street mains at their own expense, upon application to the city, and under its direction, and will be allowed the use of water free of charge for fire purposes only.
