§ 91.17 APPROVAL OF SALE BY CITY COUNCIL.
   When the Chief of Police deems it appropriate to dispose of such property (excepting vehicles registered with the Motor Vehicle Division of the state), he or she shall prepare a detailed list of the property to be disposed of and an estimate of the value of each item and deliver such list to the City Recorder. Within 30 days after receipt of such list, the City Council shall approve or disapprove of the disposition of such property by endorsing said approval or disapproval on said list and delivering it to the Chief of Police.
