§ 70.08 AUTHORITY OF POLICE AND FIRE OFFICERS.
   (A)   It is the duty of police officers to enforce the provisions of this traffic code.
   (B)   In the event of a fire or other public emergency, officers of the Police and Fire Departments may direct traffic as conditions require, notwithstanding the provisions of this traffic code.
