(a) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 733.262, Council does hereby, by a two-third’s (2/3) vote or more, combine the duties of the Clerk and Treasurer of the Village of North Perry into one (1) appointed office to be known as the Village Fiscal Officer.
(b) Subsection (a) hereof changing the duties of the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of North Perry into one appointed office, known as the Village Fiscal Officer, shall be effective on the 1st day of January 2004 which is the first day of January following the next regular municipal election at which the Village Clerk-Treasurer is to be elected.
