No person shall be a member of the North Pekin Auxiliary Police Department unless he or she meets the following qualifications:
(A) The applicant shall be at least twenty one (21) years of age;
(B) The applicant shall be a person of good character and repute;
(C) The applicant shall be a resident of the Village; and passed such examinations and qualifications as may be prescribed by the Chief of Police and approved by the Village Board;
(D) Auxiliary policemen shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. (Ord. 414, 8-27-1984)
