The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. An appointee to the position of Chief of Police shall move within the corporate limits of the Village. All members of the Police Department, as may from time to time be determined necessary, shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. Any member may be removed from the Police Department by the President pursuant to section 3-11-1 of the Illinois Municipal Code. (Ord. 414, 8-27-1984)
