All members of the fire department, including its officers, shall adhere to the following:
(A) Any fireman in attendance at a fire who shall neglect or refuse to obey the orders of the officer in command at such fires, shall, upon conviction, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
(B) It shall be lawful for any fire chief or any assistant or other person in command of the department to require any person above the age of twenty one (21) years with or without any horse or team or with or without any motor vehicle that such person may own or control, to assist in hauling or conveying any fire apparatus to the place of the fire.
(C) It shall be the duty of all officers of the fire department and all police officers of the village to see that the provisions of this chapter are enforced and to arrest on view any person who shall be found violating any of the provisions hereof or who shall hinder, resist or refuse to obey any such officer in the discharge of his duty and to that end all such officers are hereby vested with the usual power and authority of police officers.
(D) It shall be the duty of all members of the fire department to comply with all requirements contained in the North Pekin fire department bylaws. (Ord. 965, 2-24-2014)
