343.07 LOG BOOK, SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
   (a)   No motor transportation company or private motor carrier, as defined in Ohio R.C. 4921.02 or 4923.02, shall operate any motor vehicle upon the roads, streets or highways in this Municipality, without carrying a log book, safety equipment and complying with all other rules and regulations as prescribed by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.
   (b)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
