There is hereby created the position of Planner, which shall be appointed by and be answerable to the Director of Economic and Community Development. The duties of the Planner shall include but not be limited to assisting the Director in the administration and implementation of plans and programs for the orderly development of the City, reviewing public and private development plans, and advising boards and commissions on planning matters as necessary. The Planner shall perform such other duties consistent with the position as may be required by the Director and such other duties as reflected in the job description on file within the Office of Director of Human Resources.
