139.05 DIVISION OF FIRE.
   There is hereby established a Division of Fire within the Department of Public Safety. The Division of Fire shall be headed by the Chief of Fire.
   (a)    Duties. The Chief of Fire shall be responsible for the organization and supervision of the Division of Fire. Included within the supervisory authority of the Chief of Fire shall be firefighters of all ranks, whether part-time or full time, and Secretaries. The Chief of Fire shall also perform all duties and exercise all authority granted to Chiefs of Fire in the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, the Ohio Revised Code and the Ohio Administrative Code.
   (b)    Employees. The staffing of the Division of Fire is hereby established and is reflected in the organizational chart for the Department of Public Safety contained in Section 139.99(c), which, as it pertains to this Division only, is incorporated herein as if fully rewritten. The Mayor shall establish the compensation of all employees of the Division within the salary ranges established by City Council, to the extent that such compensation is not otherwise established by contract, or federal, state or local law.
