If the deposit is insufficient to reimburse the City, the Engineering Division shall collect from the applicant a sufficient amount to reimburse the City for the expense incurred. If the applicant fails to deposit sufficient funds to reimburse the City for the cost of inspection and general supervision or anticipated repairs within three days of notice to do so, then the City Engineer may issue an order to stop work for all or part of the work associated with the street opening. Failure to heed such stop work order shall be cause to revoke the permit to cut the curbing.
