Upon request the subdivider or a duly authorized representative shall be present at all meetings held on the preliminary or final plat he or she has submitted for consideration. The subdivider shall be notified of this requirement in writing at least 10 days prior to the date of the hearing. Absence of the subdivider or a duly authorized representative, once properly notified, shall be sufficient cause to recommend denial of the plat.
