§ 32.06 STREET DEPARTMENT.
   A Street Department under the control of the City Administrator is established. The head of this Department shall be known as the Street Superintendent, to be designated by the City Administrator. Streets, storm sewers and garbage and trash collection shall be under the direct supervision of the Street Superintendent. He or she shall have supervision of all labor and custody of all property used and maintained for the purposes of such Department. It is the duty of the Street Superintendent to file with the City Administrator a report as to his or her recommendation as to repair or improvements of the conditions of the streets, storm sewers and sidewalks within his or her supervision, together with a report of the activities of his or her Department during the preceding year. The Street Superintendent shall also make and file such other reports as may be required by the Council.
