§ 90.213 CONSENT ASSESSMENT PROJECTS.
Any improvement project or other cost-incurring services provided at the expense of the city may be assessed against the benefitted property by the mutual consent of the property owner and the City Council. The actual amount of the assessment and the terms of payment shall be established by mutual agreement. A written consent assessment agreement must be signed by the property owner or owners of the benefitted property, containing the terms agreed to plus the legal description of the property. Once the Council approves the agreement, the City Clerk shall forward it to appropriate county officials as required by law.
