(A) Pursuant to authority granted by I.C. 36-7-12-1 et seq., there is hereby created the town’s Department of Economic Development, to be controlled by a commission known as the “North Manchester Economic Development Commission”.
(B) The members of the town’s Economic Development Commission shall be appointed by the Town Executive. One of the members shall be selected by the Town Executive; one shall be nominated by the County Council; and one shall be nominated by the Town Council.
(C) Terms of members of the town’s Economic Development Commission shall run from February 1 after their original appointment for a period of three years, if selected by the Town Executive; two years, if nominated by the Town Council; and one year, if nominated by the County Council.
(D) The powers and duties of the town’s Economic Development Commission shall be as prescribed by I.C. 36-7-12-1 et seq.
