The Town Council shall select one of its members to be its President and one of its members to be its Vice President for a definite term. The term shall not exceed the term of the office as a member of the legislative body. The President of the Town Council is the Town Executive. In the absence of the President, the Vice President shall preside at meetings and shall act as the ex-officio Town Executive in the absence of the President.
