1. A tower must be set back:
A. From all ID or residential lot lines a distance equal to or greater than the tower height.
B. From lot lines of all other districts a distance equal to or greater than the height of the tower; however, if the tower manufacturer certifies that the tower is designed to collapse within a smaller area, the setbacks may be reduced consistent with said certification but shall in no case be less than 50% of the height of the tower. Use of the tower manufacturer's certification to reduce the set back as described herein is subject to the review and approval of the City Engineer.
2. Any communications facilities located on the roof of an antenna support structure must be set back at least one foot from the edge of the roof of the structure. This setback requirement shall not apply to communications facilities located above the roof of the structure, if the facilities are:
A. Appropriately screened from view through the use of panels, walls, fences or other screening techniques approved by the City; or
B. Camouflaged antennas that are mounted to the exterior of the antenna support structures below the roof but do not protrude more than 24 inches from the side of such an antenna support structure.
3. The following height conditions apply:
A. Commercial and Public Use Districts. Freestanding or guyed tower with a height not exceeding 200 feet.
B. Industrial Districts. Freestanding or guyed tower with height not exceeding 360 feet.
