(A) Mill Street, for its entire length, is hereby declared to be a main thoroughfare upon which vehicles shall have the right-of-way over those coming into said main thoroughfare from intersecting streets, and vehicles upon said main thoroughfare shall have the right to proceed uninterruptedly in the direction in which they are moving in preference to other vehicles entering said main thoroughfares from intersecting streets, and it shall be unlawful for any driver or person in charge of any vehicle to fail to yield such right-of-way to the person entitled thereto.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any driver or person in charge of any vehicle to fail to bring his or her vehicle to a full and complete stop immediately before entering any main thoroughfare or before entering any street at the entrance to which a stop sign has been placed or erected.
(C) The location of stop signs now erected are hereby approved and confirmed, and the provisions of this schedule shall be applicable thereto as well as to any other stop signs that may hereafter be erected in pursuance of any order of the Village Council or of the Mayor.
(D) Any person violating any of the provisions of this schedule shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $25 and the costs of prosecution.
